Online Book Launch for The Fold!

The Substantial Motion Research Network (SMRN) Public Lecture Series invites you to join our inaugural public lecture, The Fold: From Your Body to the Cosmos, a virtual book launch for Dr. Laura U. Marks. The event will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. (PDT) on Zoom. In this talk, Dr. Laura Marks will present her new book, published by Duke University Press, which explores the interconnectedness of everything in the universe, from humans to stars. Through analyses of various media, she outlines methods for enhancing connections within the cosmos and building "soul-assemblages" to challenge power structures.
