Maure Coise

Maure Coise works at a public library and grows dahlias on Skagit land. Author of several books of poetry, including Geophilosophical Branding (2016, gnOme) and Cultural Object Ontologies (2019, Inside the Castle). They operate Inu Wan Wan, a postpunk avantgarde music record label. And they manage the living archive of Wadada Leo Smith. Coise co-organized the Sound Lab at Foreign Objekt with Sepideh Majidi. Currently, researching critical organology and book realism.
