Nina Czegledy
Nina Czegledy is an independent media artist, curator, educator. She collaborates on art& science& technology projects internationally and locally. The paradigm shifts in the arts in a cross-cultural context, interdisciplinary education, women’s work and practice and inter-generational involvements inform her collaborations. Czegledy has curated international cross-disciplinary exhibitions and thematically connected events. Her latest curatorial projects include Agents for Change/Facing the Anthropocene, The Museum, Kitchener, Canada, 2020; Who is you? JD Reid Gallery, New Plymouth, New Zealand; Leonardo 50th at Cyber Arts ARS Electronica, 2018, Austria; SPLICE, Re-examining Nature for Oulu Art Museum, Finland 2017. She has participated and organized international forums, workshops, and festivals. Upcoming SENSES (working title) 2021, Laznia Center for Contemporary Art, Gdansk, Poland. On behalf of Leonardo/ISAST she initiated and co-presented 27 Leonardo 50th Celebrations in 24 countries in 2017 and 2018. Her academic lectures lead to numerous publications in books and journals.
