Yvan Tina is a Research Assistant for the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at UT Dallas. Yvan holds a PhD in performance studies from Aix-Marseille University, in France. His dissertation focuses on the notion of theatrically and how it is affected by the use of artificial life in performance art and installation. Additionally, he is in charge of developing the Virtual Africa platform which seek to promote the encounters between the arts and the technosciences in Africa and within the African diaspora.
