Yvan Tina
Yvan Tina is a researcher and cultural producer with experience in the fields of performance arts and emerging technology. Project manager and content creator for two experimental publication platforms, his interests lie in the areas of art (production, curation, discourse), technology, and cultural diplomacy. Yvan holds a PhD in the performance studies from Aix-Marseille University, in France, and a PhD in arts, technology and emerging communication from the University of Texas at Dallas. His dissertation looks at the notion of theatrically and its redefinition through the use of artificial life in performance art and installation. Additionally, he is in charge of developing the Virtual Africa platform which seek to promote encounters between the arts and the technosciences in Africa and beyond.
